The Moeding Alphaton Façade System - An overview
Moeding's initial aspiration was to harness the warmth and vibrancy
of fired clay as a traditional cladding medium and to introduce
the next generation of façade treatments.
Following the success and inspiration that was drawn from
the Thomas Herzog vision, the Moeding Façade System was formally
launched as a commercial entity in 1986.
There has followed continuous design development to achieve
solutions for evermore diverse requirements, and it is the
pace of innovation and change that has provided the stimulus
that keeps Moeding at the forefront of terracotta rainscreen
technology.
Although the Alphaton System consists of four basic component
types, DuoSkin Tiles, KeyClip Fixings, Generation 06 Support
Rails, and the unique SpringSeal Vertical Profile, the flexibility
that exists to tailor these constituent elements to evermore
diverse needs is truly breathtaking.
Whilst the challenges of tomorrow are at the forefront of
everyone's thoughts, it is the lessons of the last two decades which provide the foundations of success that can only
be measured by the satisfaction of so many architects and
their clients.
